About The Craftsman

Joe Herrmann is an award winning Industrial Arts woodworking instructor who retired after teaching for 30 years in a small, rural school in Northeast Ohio. He has taught woodturning at major woodworking schools and has demonstrated at regional woodworking clubs and shows.

Joe has written numerous articles for "Creative Woodworks and Crafts" magazine and is the editor for All American Craft's new woodturning magazine, "Woodturning Design"--the first full color, quarterly magazine published in the US that will be devoted to all things woodturning! He has also written articles for "Fine Woodworking" and the "Woodworker's Journal."

Joe is currently building a large, 1500 sq. ft. workshop where he eventually plans to teach beginning woodturning and woodworking to adults.
